For individuals

When it looks fine on the surface, but doesn't feel that way

Things might look like they are going well on the surface, but underneath it all you're running on stress, self-doubt, or burnout. It's as if no matter what you do, you find yourself feeling like it's not enough. Together, we'll unpack the patterns that keep you stuck, strengthen your confidence, and create new ways of relating to yourself and others.

This isn't open-ended venting. We get practical and we get moving. Sessions are available in person in San Mateo and by secure video across California.

What will we do?

Everyone is different, so the work is too

01

Identify thought patterns

Negative thought patterns can have a significant impact on our mental health. These harmful thoughts create a cycle that is difficult to break and can lead to anxiety, depression, and other concerns.

02

Define purpose

Believe it or not, negative thought patterns often serve a purpose, even though they can be harmful. By understanding the underlying reasons for these thoughts, we can learn how to change them. Your mind and body are powerful tools — therapy helps you use them to your advantage.

03

Acceptance

Finding purpose can help you accept the current state of things, even when you don't like it. Acceptance is one of the first steps in actively rewiring your thought patterns for the better.

04

Create new patterns

By staying present-focused and reframing negative thoughts, you can use your natural thought patterns to create positive results — and make the new response the more natural one.
