About
Hi, I'm Peter.
My belief is that people are capable of profound growth when they have the right combination of understanding, acceptance, and practical action. My work focuses on helping adults and couples, often parents, who feel stuck in patterns of stress, disconnection, or self-doubt.
Life in the Bay Area can make it hard to slow down. You’re managing your career, family, and expectations - and yet something still feels off. You want to feel more connected in your relationships and confident in yourself, but the same issues keep resurfacing.
In my work with clients, I take a clear, direct, and compassionate approach. I integrate insight-oriented therapy with tactical tools that help you make meaningful progress. I’ll help you understand the “why” behind your patterns, and together we’ll develop a plan to help you change them.
If you’re ready for therapy that’s practical, respectful, and truly impactful, I’d love to help you get there.
(Offering sessions online throughout California and in person in the Bay Area.)

My Approach to Therapy
I have a relentless belief in people’s ability to make positive changes in their lives. Real transformation doesn’t come from willpower alone. It happens when we develop a deeper understanding of ourselves, learn to accept what we find, and take intentional action to move forward.
My work blends insight-oriented therapy with practical, tactical guidance. That means you’ll gain both awareness and clear, actionable tools you can use outside the therapy room.
Whether you’re an individual feeling overwhelmed by the pace of Bay Area life or a couple caught in frustrating communication loops, we’ll focus on uncovering what’s really driving the patterns that keep you stuck and help you change them in ways that last.
I don’t just nod and validate (though we’ll absolutely create space for empathy). I provide structure, challenge, and direction. Because therapy should feel impactful and real.

The Clients I Work Best With
Many of my clients are adults or couples, often parents, who are managing demanding careers, family life, and the invisible pressure to keep everything together.
You may look successful on the outside, but internally you feel:
-
Disconnected from your partner or yourself
-
Caught in self-doubt, imposter syndrome, or perfectionism
-
Overwhelmed by trying to “do it all”
-
Ready for change, but unsure where to start
If this sounds familiar, you’re in the right place. My clients are motivated, thoughtful, and capable. They just need space, perspective, and support to move from stuck to strong.

My Philosophy
I believe therapy should feel respectful, nonjudgmental, and collaborative.
It’s not about labeling or diagnosing your humanity. It’s about understanding what drives your behavior and how that knowledge can improve your relationships and your life.
You’re not broken. You’re human. With the right support, understanding, and direction, you can create meaningful, lasting change.
